It also helps keep your family safe by preventing hazardous levels of carbon monoxide.  Any system that involves combustion and is located in your home should be kept in good repair, and will also greatly extend the life of your equipment.   At Jeff's K-1 Heating, we recommend regular maintenance on the following types of heating systems at the indicated intervals:

• Oil Fired Furnaces -- Annual maintenance and cleaning
• Oil Fired Boilers  -- Annual maintenance and cleaning
• Toyotomi Laser Direct Vent Heating Systems -- Maintenance and cleaning every 3 to 4 years
• Monitor Direct Vent Heating Systems -- Maintenance and cleaning every 3 to 4 years
• Toyotomi Oil Miser Tankless Hot Water systems (oil fired) -- Maintenance and cleaning every 4 to 5 years

The best time to clean and tune-up your heating system is during the Spring and Summer months, when you aren't using your heating system.  In addition to a thorough cleaning the nozzle is changed, fuel filter replaced, pump strainer and air filter replaced (if required) and replace any other part that shows wear and tear before it turns into major trouble when you need it most.  We can also check your fuel tank to be sure there are no problems with it.

Any system - even those that receive regular maintenance, although it's less likely - can still break down.  Jeff's K-1 Heating is there for you if and when you need emergency service 24 hours a day.  We understand how important it is to have heat during our cold New England winters.
